Congratulations to Jenna Baily from Piperdellan photography. She has won a free set of actions.

She also sent me this email which I found quite funny. She also let me know that she ran my free funky action found on ILP.

“okay, i am far dorkier than you as i happened to notice your post as i am supposed to be cooking dinner and made my starving family wait while i took and even dorkier picture.Yeah, I know its a stretch but I had no time to run to market and well, it is a pineapple, kinda, sorta…..well, I tried anyhow…..

then i laughed as i viewed the images because well, it looks a bit, hmmmmmm…..naughty….but maybe thats just me, lol. then i got another laugh as i ran my resize action that watermarked it. i thought golly….who’d want to steal that scrap of fruit…..ha!

oh well, hope your evening is looking up and that your leg is healing……”

 OOPS!! Forgot that I was taking poems until 10:00, no biggie, we’ll start again but Renee will still get some instructions since I am a dork. :)

HA!! I may have to print this one out and frame it!! Fits my family well!!

Jessica Hughes is a big DORK!

What? Really? I would think not! Well, okay, probably.

Dork is a term of endearment in my home. My kids get their dorkiness from me and I’m proud of it!

My eldest daughter thought of our first contest for me.

1.Contest details: First person to send a photo of yourself holding a sign that says ‘Jessica Hughes is a big DORK’ will win a set of my new actions! C’mon you one reader out there…you know you can do it!! Send the web sized pics to contact@jessicahughes.com

2. Second contest detail: I will accept submissions until 10 pm tonight so you can use old or new photos. I need some messy ice cream eaters. The photo with the messiest person will win a set of my brand new actions.

3. Third contest details: Write a poem about me!! I’ll accept the poems until 10 pm tonight. The winner will receive jewelry making instructuions!! Fun stuff!

4. Fourth contest details: It’s been a while since I’ve heard a good joke. Send me some! Keep in mind that I will be posting them on the blog so keep them clean. If you would like to send some unclean ones just for kicks I wouldn’t mind. Winner of the funniest joke gets a free set of my new actions.

I’m in love…

I’m usually a no background or paper background kind of girl. Muslin frustrates me. I don’t like using it. Today I have found my new best friend and plan to order soon. I have been looking for something like this for quite some time. The prices aren’t bad either.
