Happy birthday Momma!!

Today is my Mom’s birthday. It is also the day that she was diagnosed with lung cancer two years ago. Less than two months later I lost her. It has been a tough two years. In the words of the great Foo Fighters “it’s times like this you learn to live again”. So true. Life will never be the same without my momma.

So Mom, I love you. I hope that you are proud of me and are able to watch your grandkids grow up. They miss you dearly, as do I. I miss you every day. I am happy that I get to see your beautiful smile in my dreams.

On a different note…here are some pics of my kids I took this weekend. My 6 year old did not want to participate.

Magazine cover

I’m thrilled to announce that I will have my first cover shoot out on Tuesday. Not only did I get to shoot it, and a photo that is inside the magazine but I was able to use my cute kiddos. :) If you are in the OK,TX area pick one up!

Here are the pics for the magazine. It’s a great magazine with a lot of fun family features. Exciting things coming in November and December too!

Limited Edition photo sessions!

I can’t wait to get these started. We are going to have so much fun.

My first LE session will be ‘Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’. Just in time for Christmas and your beautiful Christmas cards.

This session would include an on location (at your home) session with four people. Mom, Dad, and two children. There will be a small fee for each additional child.

What do you get?

* Up to two hours of my time, photographing the perfect portrait.

* 50 fine art 5×7 Christmas cards with envelopes.

* a beautiful 16×20 wall portrait

* 10% off all additional portraits or digital files.

The price for this fun, once in a lifetime portrait session is $450 + $25 for each additional child.

Keep in mind that if you would like to do this, sessions will book FAST! My Christmas deadline is November 15th. We need to get these done before this time. The Santa costume is provided by me. When booking your session we will discuss clothing for the rest of your family.

Your friends and family will be talking about these cards for years to come. Trust me. I still hear about ours, that it is the best that they have ever seen. Here is our 2006 family Christmas portrait. Timeless!!

The next session is my ice cream session. How great would it to be to have a portrait of your kids sitting on a curb eating ice cream, messy as can be? I have a large 30×40 framed canvas in my living room. It is gorgeous. I get so many compliments on it. For those of you that have been to my studio you know exactly what I am talking about.

info for this session:

*up to 4 children, an additional fee to add more children

*this will be on location in Lawton

*50 fine art Christmas cards with envelopes

*30×40 fine art canvas print (your choice of stretcher bars or gallery wrap)

*10% off all additional fine art prints or digital images

This IS that classic fine art print that you will be hanging in your home for years to come. It is a timeless photo. The kids have lots of fun too.

The price for the Ice Cream session is $1,200. Trust me, when you see that fine art canvas you will know it’s well worth it.

All of this with a release from me, as your photographer.
