There’s nothing quite as dorky as talking to yourself. Ha! That must be why I do it all the time right?

I took my kids to church for the first time today. They had a lot of fun. Mackenzie was crying a bit because the preacher they had was very, VERY loud and sounded quite angry. He’s not the regular preacher so we’ll go back next week and try again. It was a lot of fun. So many nice people.

My poor little man was bitten by a spider in his sleep last night. When he woke up it was red and hot. I was afraid that he had a fever. Then the swelling set in. It is not pretty. I took him to the am/pm clinic this evening. They ‘think’ it was an allergic reaction to the bit but said to keep an eye on him for fever. If it’s worse in the morning I will take him to his regular doctor. My husband was bitten by a brown recluse last month and it was NOT pretty. I would hate that to happen to my little man’s face!!

Here’s a pic that I took of him right after church.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of having three of the kids friends spend the night. They’re Mom works with my husband. She is currently deployed in Afghanistan. She should be back next month! I know her and her family cannot wait. I could not imagine having to be away for my kids for 6 moths. It would break my heart in two.

These kids are so sweet and fun to be around. My kids adore them.

Whoa, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. The kids new summer schedule has thrown me out of the loop. What is there schedule? No school. They are here all day, every day. They’ve actually been doing quite well. Getting along nicely, which always improves my mood. When they whine and fight, my nerves get fried. I swear, I don’t know how my Mom raised my brother and I. We were the WORST! We fought more than any kids I have ever known or seen. He is two years older than me. I guess we were just too close. Now we get along perfectly. I love my big bro and thing he is a great male role model, a wonderful son, husband and father. Many kudo’s to Forrest!! I love that guy!

Not much has been happening here. I have shot a couple of weddings now. Lots of fun! I’m taking it easy this summer since the kids are home all day. I’ve started a new health food kick. Fruits, Veggies, raw nuts and seeds. I’m already addicted. I’ve only been doing it for a week but love it. I started this from watching ‘You are what you eat’ on BBC America. I realized that my occasional salad and broccoli just wasn’t cutting it.

Since I don’t have Showtime I am catching up on my third season of Weeds. I LOVE that show. Very entertaining.

I’ve had a lot of emails on jewelry instructions. They are on sale until the end of July for just $120! Regular price is $200.

You all have a beautiful day. I promise to write more often.

My dear friend and photographer, Kristy Lane, had her baby girl yesterday!! Congratulations Kristy!! Her name is Alexa Cate. I was able to meet Kristy last month. The girl is GORGEOUS!! Can you believe she was 8 1/2 months preggo in this pic?
