My Mom’s birthday present

My’ sweet Momma passed away last November due to lung cancer. Her birthday was Sept. 28th, which was the same day she was diagnosed. She was always so proud of me when I received the Kodak ‘picture of the day’ that they post on Times Square in New York. Anyway…I had a photo of the day on her birthday. I was teasing her, telling her that the POTD was her birthday present.
She never did get to see it that day since it turned out to be such a horrible day.
A couple of days ago a received an email from Kodak. They want to use my photo on their home page www.kodak.com for two weeks, beginning April 1st. Same photo. So it’s another ‘happy birthday’ present for my Mom. I just bawled when I received that email, but it is a beautiful thing, isn’t it? :)
Enough of my rambling.
Here is the photo. My sweet girl, playing in the dirt.  yes, I know…my banner is lookin’ CRAZY!! I’m too tired to fix it tonight. :)
